There are four phases when it comes to building your Splash Pool.
The Process
Phase 1
-
Demo
-
Layout
-
Excavation
-
Steel
-
Plumbing
-
Gas
(Approximately 1-4 weeks in)
After the permit and HOA has been approved, we will start clearing the area and begin the excavation process. Next, we will install steel reinforcments according to city codes and engineering plans. We will then install plumbing for the pool and spa, including lines for circulation, a skimmer, a vacuum line with a three-way valve, an autofill system, and a split main drain with safety covers. We will also put in a 1.5" gas line for equipment, fire pit, and BBQ. After this process, we will get the city/county to inspect our work and approve it before moving on to the next phase.

Phase 2
-
Gunite
-
Deck Bonding
(Approximately 5-8 weeks in)
Once the first inspection has been passed, we will then "shoot" gunite to create the pool and spa structure, install deck bonding for safety, and then notify the city/county for the second inspection.
Phase 3
-
Coping
-
Tile
-
Equipment Installation
(Approximately 9-11 weeks in)
At this stage you will start to see your pool and spa take shape! Your choice of coping will be installed around the pool and spa, and your choice of tile will be installed on the waterline, raised areas, and spillways. We will also install the equipment and notify the city/county for the third inspection.

Phase 4 (The Final Phase)
-
Interior Finish
-
Clean Up
-
Start Up
-
Final Inspection
(Approximately 12-14 weeks in)
After the third inspection has been passed, we will start installing the light niches and equipment or bonding(#8 AWG bonding from wire steel). Then, we will apply your chosen finish - plaster or mini pebble. After your finish has been installed, we will then begin filling the pool. A 30 day start up service is included with all new constructions. Finally, we will schedule the final inspection, and you will be ready to enjoy your pool!
