Richard Montigny’s passion for building began at a young age, fueled by a lifetime of hands-on experience in construction. From early fieldwork to managing large-scale projects as a General Manager, Richard eventually discovered his true calling in the pool and outdoor living industry. For over a decade, he has specialized in designing, managing, and coordinating backyard transformations—turning ordinary spaces into personal retreats. His expertise encompasses every aspect of the business, from detailed construction work to streamlined operations. With a unique blend of technical skill and creative vision, Richard has helped hundreds of homeowners bring their dream outdoor spaces to life.

After years of refining his craft and guiding others in their backyard makeovers, Richard took the next big step by founding Splash Pools & Design Inc. alongside his son, Thomas Montigny. The father-son team now brings a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction to every project. Together, they continue to elevate the standard for outdoor living—one backyard at a time.
